Ohhhh ssshhhhoooottt, Drizzy’s beef with Kendrick Lamar was insane… lyrically! Shots that were thrown at each other changed the landscape in hip hop.
Their competitive nature in battle rap went beyond extreme when Drake dropped “Family Matters,” to which Kendrick warned him not to take that route about his family previously in his single “Euphoria.”
“Don’t speak on the family Crody. It can get deep in the family crody,” Lamar made clear.

Insane personal lyrics were thrown at Lamar still on Drizzy’s track where he mentionened “When you put your hands on your girl, is it self defense cause she bigger than you.”
Now that’s when their beef exploded and Lamar had dangerous intentions on his mind when he released “Meet The Grahams.”
Harsh statements were made in which would be challengeable for Drake to strike back.

Anything goes in rap battles. However, Lamar responded with a different approach which gives a reminder of why he’s known as the “Boogyman” in hip hop.
There were no limits when Lamar had a deep message for Drake’s son and parents in his diss track! Uh mean, Lamar even explained why Drake’s family was lyrically targeted.
The response from Lamar puts their beef in quiet mode even though Drake planned a response in “Buried Alive pt 2,” which was a remake of his original single which featured Lamar.
At that point, Drake sounded like he ran out of options and when he dropped “The Heart Part 6,”’it still wasn’t enough.

Their battle rap was out of control to bring each others family into their shots thrown at each other.
Although the war of lyrics have calmed down, their battle rap remains to be described as unforgettable.
It’s crazy how Lamar’s war with Drake has escalated. It started off as competitive and evolved to a personal level but it wasn’t necessary.
However, the majority of their feud left fans with hit records like Drake’s “Push Ups, and K Dot’s viral, make-you-wanna-dance, single “Not Like Us.”
