Wait… what is he seriously looking to gain??? First, Drake files a lawsuit against Universal Music Group for allegedly boosting the numbers up for Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us…”‘

Plans of a lawsuit switched 0 to 100 real quick when Drake dropped the lawsuit over the “Not Like Us” track. Nope, he didn’t stay quiet.

Shortly afterwards, Drake has prepared another lawsuit based on deformation and harassment of UMG… quickly… Deformation and harassment??? Really though???

So, no diss track response??? Nothing stronger than that… Just a lawsuit?? No Mob Ties Drake??? Why portray yourself a bold tough rapper and then come up with a lawsuit… And the claim doesn’t only aim at his record label.

His target lawsuits mentions YouTubers who’s supported the “Not Like Us” song, through live streams, like Kai Cenat and Scurf Face Jean… Based on their reaction videos to Lamar’s hit single! Dam, his diss track really got to Drake… Possibly more than his intense beef with Pusha T when he called out Drake on keeping his fatherhood a secret… And there was no lawsuit at that point.

So why now?? Lamar really got to him with the pdfs claims in his single.

At this point, he’s doing way too much. The lawsuit, sympathetic single to Lebron James entitled “Fighting Irish,” and even trying to jeopardize Lamar’s half time show at this year’s superbowl.

It’s a diss track and at this moment it’s Drake’s karma. Drake was warned not to go far by Lamar in “Euphoria,” but Drake decided to anyways with “Family Matters,” during their epic rap war as of last year.

However, if their beef affects a child… it’s different. When the child has to be pulled out of school after the song, it’s different. Their beef shouldn’t include a child… let alone any family members. Considering the intensity of their beef, it should only be a rap battle between both artists alone.

They know, they know, they know!!!! Is it fair to sing “Headlines” because he can’t stay quiet??? If Drake wants a victory over Lamar, just have what it takes with tough bars (without ghost writers) and show you got what it takes to make it through.

With his current lawsuit made in a New York federal court, where decades of UMG’s relationship with Drake has been made, Drakes Frozen Moments legal team states that the label “Internationally sought to turn Drake into a pariah, a target for harassment, or worse,” the lawsuit says as confirmed by his team, according to USA Today.

In response made by UMG, the label described Drake’s claim as “untruthful.”

They’re spokesperson has suggested that Drake’s lawsuit is an attempt to “Weaponize the legal process to silence an artist’s creative expression and to seek damages from UMG for disturbing that artist ‘s music.”

His lawsuit is just childish. When the label is on his side to boost the numbers it’s all good but when UMG wants to support their other artist, the same way they have done for Drake, it’s a problem… Because of your reputation and what his single represents.

This case won’t end well. Either Drakes career is in serious jeopardy or the label will face major backlash that will hurt their brand.
