Man, he continues to feel the impact of his rap war with rival Kendrick Lamar to the point where Drake attempts to make it a legal matter against Universal Music Group… The same label who signed him??? What the heck????

His legal attempt dates back to his epic hip hop war against Lamar who defrated him with the knock-out hit single “Not Like Us.”

The concept was an additional disaster prior to the amount of artists who turned on him…. which he destroyed with one shot with his single “Push Ups,” but to prepare a lawsuit against your own label who built your image as a dominate artist for 15 years of his rap career is a slap to the face to the label.

So, it’s ok for the label to boost your status as a rap artist with continued high numbers as views. However, if the same label uses the same strategy for another artist because of the situation… It’s a problem???

Nooo, why though??? This is definitely a questionable moment because when Universal worked to bring the numbers up for Drake’s various hit singles, it’s all good but when they do so for another artist… It’s not allowed???

He’s really affected by the loss to Lamar still to this day. He should’ve just returned to the booth with a comeback….

This is battle rap… the main formula of hip hop…. why mess it up???

Fear of Lamar and his intense response with singles like “Meet The Grahams,” and popular single “Not Like Is”? Obviously…. Drake can’t take the echos of the “Not Like Us” record when it’s in rotation on radio statio

Should’nt the record-rotation motivate him to make a return to the booth…. Well, he did but not for that reason.

He tried to look past the shots of being a sexual predator made by Lamar, when he was featured for Snowd4y’s single “Wah Gwan Delilah.”

That was just a weak comeback not for the dingle release but for his actions. Why release a collared single when everyone expects a response???

Overall, Drake probably had no strategy, rap-wise, to fire back. So, that’s when he planned the lawsuit against UMG.

The lawsuit claims that the label allowed Lamar’s “Not Like Us” single to destroy his character in music.

He’s additionally claimed that UMG has provided bots to insure the continued success of the single through Spotify.

This is beyond crazy considering that UMG has pretty much worked on the same strategy throughout Drake’s career.

The case is set to occur on December 20 of this year. Beyond insane for the fact that a date is actually set.

With Drake’s latest actions in their cold rap it puts Lamar in a better position based on his status as an artist greater than his rival… where doesn’t even have to say or do much.
