The momentum for rap artist Kendrick Lamar continues after his victory in the rap raw… Throughout the majority of last year.
With the Super Bowl approach for February 9th, Lamar is set to enter the field for the half-time show but he escalated the anticipated performance with his invitation to Top Dog Entertainment mate R&B Singer Sza.
His strategy to leave an impact on his moves that he makes is noticeable since the pop-out show in Los Angeles when Lamar performed “Not Like Us” five times… Where additionally invited gang affiliations on stage for a sign of unity in such a major way.

However, no one expected the hit record to come with a music video that is just as impactful as the single. Lamar is unstoppable at this point… which could potentially hurt his foe and that doesn’t even bother him… It shouldn’t and wouldn’t.
Fast forward, the announcement of a special guest for his Super Bowl performance was made in a sporty way when Lamar has a phone conversation of the half time show, on the field in Louisiana, until Sza sneaks up behind him to splash a big bucket of Gadarade over his head which transitioned from a fast pace to a slow pace in full motion… With his single “Hey Now” as the music in the background.
Although Sza will join him on the field, Lamar is known for raising impactful moments… Much like the pop-out show and “Not Like Us” video shoot in his hometown.
He could definitely add a surprise twist at the half time show. Maybe invite more TDE artists like Doechii and School Boy Q.
Speculations of whether Lamar will perform his hit record have spread. Regardless if he does perform the song or not, he’s gonna attempt set up a major performance.
However, it’s a record that everyone can vibe to. Why not perform a song that’s hard to ignore. Maybe add more insult to injury? Overall, Lamar has something in mind to insure another major performance.
